BumperKites - Lady Kite Fliers

Well, I finally put the long awaited kite arch directions online. They are in pdf form, so you will need at least Acrobat 3 or 4. There are some nice diagrams for construction the arch, directions on how to fly an arch (the things I wish people had told me before I flew my arch the first time), and nice ways of storing an arch.

I also have the lady kite flier's logo sized for printing (I hope - at least it fit on my printer - you may want scale it down using your printer's scaling setting - go to the printer's properties box for those running microsoft operating systems).

As for MVM - we are flying again after a break of last summer. We have new music, new ballet routine, new precision routine, and maybe new kites. We shall see. We like the M-1 vented and the M-3 vented, but weren't enthusiatic about the M-2. Marcia is remodeling the M-2 based on thoughts about the differences between the M-1,3 and the M-2. Vicki now has her version of the M-3. I'll be making mine soon.

MVM will fly at the 3 Ocean Shores events, the Westport event, and possibly the Northwest Sport Kite Championship in Long Beach. We get to watch the World Sport Kite Championship at Lincoln City. We will root for the two home teams, Team Cutting Edge and Sixth Sense. Maybe at Ocean City we can win a berth to the next World Sport Kite Championships. Anyway, competition will be hotting up in the Northwest with the 3 master's teams and 2 to 3 (or more) Experienced Teams.
